Farm City Night Scheduled
The Clark County Extension Council is in the process of finalizing plans for the 23rd Farm/City Night, which is scheduled for Saturday, February 16, at the Clark County Middle School in Kahoka. This event is free of charge and open to the public. The evening will begin with a free soup and sandwich supper, provided and served by Clark County Farm Bureau from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Clark County businesses and organizations can set up displays free of charge for viewing by the public.
The program will begin at 7:00 p.m. with entertainment by the Clark County R-1 Jazz Band, under the direction of Robert Dooley. Following the music will be Ralph Duren, an entertainer who shares animal calls and numerous stories. Ralph Duren is retired from the Missouri Department of Conservation and entertains audiences from coast to coast, as well as appearances on the Missouri Outdoor Network.
Local and area businesses provide financial support and numerous door prizes for this event. Clark County Extension Council members will be contacting businesses for support of this event.
