Trump Memorial Tourney Slated For Saturday, Aug. 9
The “Eighth” Annual Mark Trump Memorial Golf Tournament, Public Fish Fry and Children’s Putting & Driving Contest will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Twin Lakes Golf Course, Kahoka, MO.
This year we had one applicant for the Aeronautical Scholarship, Daniel Bernard McMahon from Knox County R-l High School. There were six applicants for the Agricultural Scholarship. Michael Hoener, Warsaw High School and from Clark County R-l High School, Erickson Elaine Arnold, Brenna L. Buford, Ashton Elana Krueger, Alyssa Redding and Ryan D. St. Clair. We were able to give each of them $1,000.
In the last seven years you have helped support twenty-nine students with scholarships totaling $24,400.
This years golfing fee is $60.00 per person for 18 holes of golf or $240.00 per team of four. The Clark County Cattlemen will again prepare lunch for the golfers.
Our “Hole Sponsorships” are still available for any business or individual for $100.00.
Following the tournament a public fish fry will be held from 5-7 p.m. with a free will donation. The Children’s Putting & Driving contest is at 6 p.m. for ages 12 and under and is free of charge.
