 Send-Off Planned For Indians; Buy Your Game Tickets This Week

After successfully dismantling the previously undefeated and #1 ranked Maplewood-Richmond Heights Blue Devils, Coach Matt Smith and his 14-0 Clark County R-1 Indians are once again traveling to St. Louis metropolitan area. This time it is for the 2008 Class 2 State Championship. The Indians will face the second ranked Maryville Spoofhounds at 12:00 noon on Saturday November 29 at the Edward Jones Dome located at 701 Convention Plaza in downtown St. Louis. Maryville enters the game with a record of 13-1 and has knocked off Plattsburg, Trenton, Carrolton, and Fair Grove, in succession, during their state playoff run.

A send off pep assembly will be held at 7:45 a.m. Friday November 28. All community members are invited to wish the Indians well as they prepare to leave for St. Louis.
Tickets may be purchased in advance at the High School, Central Office, and Running Fox Elementary. They will be available for purchase from 10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, as well as 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Tickets cost $11.00 apiece. Children five and younger are free. Checks cannot be accepted.

A pep bus for middle school and high school students is available. Sign up is in each respective office. The cost is $15.00 and includes admission.

Fans traveling to the Edward Jones Dome may bring homemade signs to hang in our seating area, as long as they are positive in nature and are removed after the contest. For additional information, as well as driving instructions, please visit
