Clark County Rescue Holds Extraction Training
A basic extrication class focusing on hydraulic tools was held recently at Brett’s Automotive West of Kahoka.
“The Rescue Squad is fortunate in having an influx of new guys lately” remarked Captain & Training Officer Randy Fish. “They’re all enthusiastic, energetic and smart which altogether makes them particularly valuable to an organization such as ours that is sometimes presented with some very challenging situations,” Fish added. “The Rescue Squad is very grateful to Brett’s Automotive for providing vehicles for hands on training that would be impossible otherwise. Future Training will include hand tools, electrical tools and special situations including School Bus extrication and Search & Rescue refresher.
Clark County Rescue is an all volunteer organization that derives all it’s income from fundraisers and donations, with no tax dollars. Founded in 1978/1979 the Rescue Squad has been serving Clark County for 30 years.
