Congratulations, CCR-1 Graduates!
Seventy-three Clark County seniors accepted their diplomas on Sunday afternoon, May 23, turned their tassels and became proud alumni of Clark County R-1 High School.
The CCR-1 High School band played the Processional as the graduates filed into the gym, where CCR-1 Superintendent Ritchie Kracht welcomed them.
The high school mixed chorus performed “Unwritten” and “This is the Moment”.
Class President Neal Moon’s message was “Stepping Up, Stepping Out,” followed by “Strive for Success by Salutatorian Cady Flood. 2010 class Valedictorian Brooke Wheeler presented the message “Only the Beginning”.
CCR-1 Alumni HL Plenge sang the class song, Kenney Chesney’s “Don’t Blink”.
Several seniors received special recognition. Brooke Wheeler was named Valedictorian, and Cady Flood was named Salutatorian. Flood also received the Leadership Award, and was named the “Person You’d Want Your Child To Be Like.”
The High ACT honors are shared by Cadence Kirchner and Brooke Wheeler.
Outstanding Senior Boy was Dalton Ludwick, and Jillian Wilson was chosen Outstanding Senior Girl. Wilson also received the Citizenship Award.
