Culvert Replacements Scheduled on
Route H in Clark County

HANNIBAL – Weather permitting, MoDOT crews will close Route H at the
locations listed below for culvert replacements on the dates and times
indicated. Motorists are urged to use alternate routes during these
times.
Some areas of the road will be open to local traffic
only.

Monday, May 23
1 p.m. to 4 p.m. – Road closed almost 2 miles west
of US 61 at Winchester between Clark County Road 278 and 279.
Tuesday, May
24
8 a.m. to noon – Road closed approximately 4.1 miles west of US 61,
replacing culvert just north of Clark County Road 293.
Noon to 4 p.m. – One
lane traffic approximately 5.2 miles west of US 61 near Clark County Road
288.
Wednesday, May 25
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. – Road closed east of Route
81 to replace two culverts located from just south of Clark County Road 280 to
just south of Clark County Road 281.

After the culverts have been replaced, some settling will occur.
MoDOT crews will monitor the area and continue to fill the roadway with
surfacing material until the settling stops.

traveling and the commuting public are encouraged to check the online map at
www.modot.org daily for new work zones. MoDOT also offers e-update messages sent
