Kahoka/Clark County Chamber Holds Christmas Dinner, Awards Businesses

Nearly 60 local business people attended the Kahoka/Clark County Chamber of Commerce Christmas Dinner, held Monday evening, December 3, at Reeds’ Bar & Grill in Wayland.
Chamber President Tim Bertram welcomed the guests and recapped the year’s events.
Bertram told the group about the Chamber’s new Facebook page, an open forum where guest can post stories and photos.
The group also re-elected Sandy Kleine, Mary Beth St. Clair and Jed Wilson to the board.

Lisa Doty, owner of Dress To Empress, was one on nine business owners presented “Golden Hammer” awards by Chamber President Tim Bertram. More photos will be in next week’s edition of The Media.

Nine “Golden Hammer” Awards were presented to new business or remodeled businesses.  Receiving “Golden Hammer” plaques were Petals and Pastries, Finders Keepers, Corner Market, Old Hickory Shop, Dress To Empress, Main Street Graphics, Scoops and More, Big Pappa’s Pawn and Blimpies.
