Clark County Fair to Once Again Hold One Day Harness Racing

The Clark County Fair will once again hold one day only harness racing on Sunday, July 28, beginning at 1:00 pm, and sponsored by the Clark County A & M Fair Association, and the Missouri Harness Horsemen’s Association.

Last year they had a great crowd and certainly hope to equal or exceed last year’s success. We hope to see everyone at the races. Other events of the week of July 24-28 includes: Wednesday, Hypnotist and Magic Show at 7:00 pm; Washer Tournament at 6:00 pm and Karaoke Contest at 7:00 pm; Thursday, Ford Night at the Fair featuring Charissa Mrowka and Country Cross at 6:30 pm, Bull Riding and Barrel Racing at 8:00 pm, Karaoke Contest finals; Friday, sanctioned Hawkeye Pedal Tractor Pull at 5:30 pm, and United Pullers of America & Missouri Farm Pullers Tractor Pull, at 7:00 pm “The Cheeseburgers” from 8-12 pm. Saturday, Farm & Antique Tractor Pull begins at 10:00 am, BBQ Contest at 5:00 pm, the Demolition Derby is at 7:00 pm, and the “Staggard” band will play from 9:00 pm to 1:00 am. The Fair week will close out on Sunday, July 28 with Harness Racing at 1:30 pm.

The Germain Rides and Concessions carnival will be here from Wednesday thru Saturday evening, and Saturday afternoon, along with many 4-H events and exhibits. The Open Art Show is for all ages and will be located in the Commercial Building. The Fair history exhibit will again be located in the Commercial Building.
