Accident Claims The Life of Clark County Man

A one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning claimed the life of a Clark County man.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Jacob Nance, 31, of Kahoka, was westbound on Hwy. 136, two miles west of Wayland, at about 12:45am Sunday. Nance left the highway, and his 2000 Jeep overturned several times.

He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Clark County Coroner Ed Wilson.

Assisting the Patrol were the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark County Ambulance, Clark County Rescue and Wayland First Responders.
