I guess I’m writing as a sucker; or a loser; it’s confusing, I can’t keep up. I’m referring, of course, to the Atlantic Article about Trump’s visit to France and his inability to visit an American Military Cemetery while many others found a way. I’ve seen Marine One fly in the rain with my own eyes with President Nixon aboard and I believe the President’s car is well equipped to navigate a wet road.(it’s a one hour drive). The derogatory remarks made by Trump about dead Americans in the article are hardly revelatory and only further confirms the President’s disdain for Military Service or actually public service of any kind. This is the guy, remember, who received several deferments from the Draft, including a medical one for “Bone Spurs”. He in effect, faked a disability so somebody else could go in his place. This is the guy who stated P.O.W. John McCain was a loser for getting captured and called George H.W. Bush a loser for getting shot down, while some of Bush’s fellow pilots were also shot down, captured tortured and then executed. In addition to all this disgusting behavior is a guy who loves to call the U.S. Armed Forces “His” and uses the Military as a prop at every opportunity. Most Vets would call him a “Wanna Be”, or my favorite, a “Chicken Hawk”. Trump may be the statutory Commander in Chief but is hardly worth the title and I believe the only recourse for Veterans, for Citizens, and for True Patriots is to hire a Real One November 3rd.
Respectfully,
