The Clark County Lady Indians brought home first place team honors from the Indian Lake Invitational meet, held Tuesday, September 29. The Lady Indians posted a team score of 31.
Grace Buschling placed second, with a time of 20:25. Cady St. Clair took third, with a 22:20 time. Mia Johnson’s time of 23:38 put her in seventh, and Peyton Franke placed eight with a time of 24:02. Delana Hess’s time of 24:41 put her in 11th place.
The Indian boys had a fourth place team finish, with 66 points. Ethan Nelson led the Indian effort with a second place time of 18:30. Landon Arnold placed ninth, with a time of 21:03, and Colin Nichols time of 21:55 put him in 14th place. Carter Harper placed 26th with a 22:54 time, and Carter Plenge took 28th, with a time of 24:02.
In middle school action, Irelyn Plenge placed 11th, with a time of 19:19. Makenna Hodges’ time of 19:35 put her in 13th place, and Emery Goings took 19th in 23:19. Maci Cochenour placed 20th, with a 25:32 time.
Middle school boys results were: 4th-Mason McDaniel, 14:52, 11th-Harrison Parker, 12th-Austin Ray, 16:2, 14th-16:08, Isaiah Hardin , 16:36, 22nd-Isaac Exner, 18:27 and 23rd- Brayden Thompson.
