Lady Indians Win District Title, Head To State

The Clark County Lady Indians claimed the district title with a strong performance at Bowling Green on Saturday. Clark County posted 58 points, to edge Palmyra by just a point, and Monroe City by two points
Grace Buschling placed first in the meet, finishing in 19:54.60. Cady St. Clair was fifth, with a time of 22:23.10, and Mia Johnson was 16th, in 23:49.80. Peyton Franke was just behind, with an 20th place finish in 24:03.20, and Delana Hess rounded out the Lady Indians with a 22nd place time of 24:31.30.
As a team, the Lady Indians will make their first appearance at the State Meet next Saturday.
Ethan Nelson placed fifth for the Indians, finishing in 18:15.20, and earning him a ticket to the State Meet.
Landon Arnold’s time of 19:53.30 put him in 17th place. Carter Harper placed 25th in 21:38.70, and Colin Nichols time of 21:42 put him in 26th place. Landon Toolate took 39th place with a time of 23:02.5, and Jaden Kellum placed 46th, with a time of 26:39.60.
