Layne Sommers led the Clark County Indians to a big win over Brookfield on Friday night. Sommers scored 10 points in the first quarter. At one point, Clark County led 18-1 in the opening quarters, and finished the quarter with an 18-8 lead.
In the second quarter, the teams played an even game, and the Indians led the Bulldogs 30-20 at the half.
Clark County rattled in another 18 points in the third period to go up by 20, 48-28, after three quarters, and cruised to a 60-39 win.
Layne Sommers had 17 points in the win. Sam Wheeler joined Sommers in double digits with 12 points. Drayson Daniels had seven, and Conner Pearl had six points. Carter Briscoe and Eli Elam had five points each, and Gage Winters scored three. Gabe Hunziker and Zack McGrew added two points each.
