The Clark County Lady Indians scored a pair of first inning runs at Scotland County on Thursday night, September 2. Lead-off batter reached base on a ground ball error. She took second on an error, and advanced to third on a wild pitch. She scored on an Olivia Miller single. Allie Hayden doubled to score Miller, and the Lady Indians had all the runs they would get in the contest.
The Lady Tigers got their only run on a sixth inning solo homer by Hanna Anders.
The Lady Indians took their first win of the season 2-1. They had four hits, 2 RBI’s and three walks. Blair Webster pitched seven innings for Clark County, allowing four hit and one fun. She struck out four Lady Tiger batters.
