Between Saturday’s basketball games, former Lady Indian Head Coach Kelly Campbell was recognized for her coaching career.
Principal Jason Harper presented her with a plaque which reads:
In sincere appreciation of your numerous contributions to the Clark County R-1 Lady Indians Basketball program. As a player, Kelly led the Lady Indians to 3 Tri-Rivers Conference titles and 2 District titles. The 1983 graduate earned 1st Team Class 2A All- State recognition her senior year. Campbell served as head coach of the Lady Indians for 11 years. From 1991- 1997, her teams won 6 consecutive undefeated Tri-Rivers Conference titles and 2 District titles. The 1994-1995 campaign saw her Lady Indians reach the Final Four and bring home the Class 2A 3rd Place trophy. Additionally, Kelly served the students of Clark County R-1 as a classroom teacher for 32 years.
