The Clark County Indians played their final game of the 2022 season on the road at Bowling Green, in the Class 2 District 7 playoff.
The Bobcats are undefeated this season, and it didn’t take long to see why. Bowling Green scored twice in first three minutes of the contest, and raced to a 40-0 first quarter lead. By halftime, the uptempo offense of the Bobcats had put 53 points on the scoreboard, while their swarming defense shut out Clark County.
The Indians only score came early in the fourth quarter, when Wyatt Randall took a handoff from Brayen James and powered eight yard into the end zone to score.
When it was over, the final score was 67-6.
Drew Holsted led the Indians in rushing yards with 47, and Wyatt Randall added 43.
Brayen James passed for 38 yards, including 17 to Gage Winters.
Seniors playing their final game for Clark County were Ian Acklie, Conner Pearl, Gage Winters, Wyatt Randall, Boden Kleine, Isaac Armstrong, Brayden Mathes, Ethan Harness Nate Brown, Caden Kerfoot and Landon Toolate.
