Clark County Music Director Bob Dooley has been honored by the Missouri Music Educator’s Association.
Dooley received the Dr. Wynne J. Harrell Outstanding Music Educator Award, named after a Missouri State University music professor.
The process involved getting nominations from each of the 11 districts in the state, and then collecting letters of recommendation for the nominees.
“It was quite an honor,” Dooley said. “I was stunned when I got the letter.”
Dooley has taught music for 41 years, all at Clark County.
