Donna Kay Laubersheimer

Donna Kay Laubersheimer, 71, of Keokuk, Iowa, passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Donna was born on August 4, 1951, the daughter of Raymond and Forrest Rose (Cottrell) Morgan. On June 7, 1997, she was united in marriage to Wayne Laubersheimer at their home in Keokuk. He survives.

Donna graduated from Clark County High School in 1969, and went on to work at Sheller-Globe for thirty years, retiring in 2007. She enjoyed spending her free time fishing, mushroom hunting, horseback riding, and shopping on QVC. Donna will always be remembered as a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, and her selfless love for others. She loved to tell stories, and was a giving person, even if it was giving you a hard time.

Donna is survived by her husband Wayne Laubersheimer of Keokuk; her son Shane Harris of Columbia, Missouri; her daughter April (Mike) Girard of Monument, Colorado; two step-children: Kirsten (Mike) Frick and Linsey Laubersheimer, both of Charleston, South Carolina; five grandchildren: Allison Harris, Emily Harris, Brielle Girard, Hudson Frick and Wilder Frick; two brothers: Jay (Cheryl) Morgan and Dennis Morgan; her sister Judy Bogener; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, her brother-in-law Sam Bogener and her sister-in-law Judy Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023, at DeJong-Greaves-Printy Funeral Home in Keokuk, with burial to follow at the Kahoka City Cemetery in Kahoka, Missouri. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 1 to 2 pm on Friday directly before the service.
