Kahoka Police Warn Of Phony Check Scam

Kahoka Police Chief Bill Conger is warning residents about a recent check scam that has appeared in Kahoka.
Residents are receiving forged money orders or travellers checks delivered by UPS or FedEx (not in the US Mail).  The envelopes were sent from Canada
“They started arriving in Kahoka this week,” said Conger.  “If you receive any, do not cash them and  call the police immediately.
