Clark County 4-H Achievement and Fashion Revue
Saturday morning, July 12 was a busy time for the Clark County 4-H members, as this was our annual Fashion Revue and Achievement event.
Eight members set ten tables for the table setting display. Drenda Hess, our Clover Kids participant, received a Clover Kids ribbon for the beautiful table setting that she did. Receiving blue ribbons were Brooke Schantz with two displays, Alexandra Shores, Adrianna Riney, Kayla Oilar with two, Kelsey Arnold, Ashley Kleine, and Elsa Scott. Kayla Oilar’s formal display was chosen as the top to win the Table Setting Bell, sponsored by Joann Ragan
.
Demonstrations were done by Ashley Kleine and Quentin Wells. Each of them received blue ribbons and are eligible to take these demonstrations to State Fair.
Those members receiving blue ribbons for judging were Quentin Wells, Levi March, Ebbie Shelton, Teri Walker, Cory Baker, Ian Riney, Gracelin McAfee, Cody Baker, Kayla Oilar, Ashley Kleine and Brooke Schantz. Julianna Riney received a green participation ribbon.
Fashion construction members Tessa Oilar and Adrianna Riney each received blue ribbons and are eligible to represent Clark County at the State Fashion Revue in September. Tessa will represent us in the 14 and over division and Adrianna in the 13 and under division.
Fashion selection participants under 14, receiving blue ribbons, were Kelsey Salyers, Hidi Burk, Ashley Kleine and Alexandra Shores. Clover Kid participant was Drenda Hess, who received a Clover Kids ribbon. Over 14 participants receiving blue ribbons were Kelsey Arnold and Elsa Scott.
Those chosen to represent Clark County in 13 and under Fashion Selection were Alexandra Shores with Hidi Burk as alternate. In the 14 and over class, Elsa Scott was chosen as delegate and Kelsey Arnold as alternate.
The morning’s program included an old fashioned fashion show with some of Joann Ragan’s fashions through the years. Models were Elsa Scott, Kelsey Arnold, Kayla Oilar, Ashley Kleine, Tessa Oilar and Alex Shores.
Fox River Clover were the host club with the theme being A 4-H Fiesta. They served delicious refreshments in addition to their attractive Mexican decorations.
