 CCR-1 Concert Band and Chorus to Present Holiday Concert On Sunday

Students of the Clark County High School Concert Band and Chorus will present their annual Holiday Concert on Sunday, December 14, at the Clark County High School gym. The concert will begin at 3:00 p.m. and admission is free.

The chorus will begin the program with the traditional candlelight precession singing “Come Singing Noel”. This will be followed by four seasonal carols. Other selections to be performed by the chorus are “A Welsh Noel”, by Dave Perry, “Stars I Shall Find”, by Victor Johnson, “A Jubilant Song”, by Allen Pote, and “O Holy Night”, by Mark Hayes.

The concert band will follow the chorus with “Merry Christmas or Bust”, “The Bells of Christmas”, by John Higgins, and “Imani”, by Sean O’Loughlin. Imani means faith and represents the seventh day of Kwanza. This piece features percussion and singing throughout.

The concert is open to all, and we hope you and your family will join us on Sunday, December 14.
