Clark County Cracks Down on
Impaired Driving

You Drink & Drive. You Lose.

Clark County – You Drink and Drive.
You Lose.

      Law enforcement officers across Missouri
will be cracking down on drunk driving with increased enforcement May 1-3. The Clark
County Sheriffs’ Office
will be participating in this effort.

“It’s never worth the risk to drive while
under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Drivers could lose their license, pay
large fines, go to jail, or worst of all, cause a tragic loss of life,” said Sheriff
Gaudette.

In 2007, 243 people died in more than
7,780 alcohol-related traffic crashes, resulting in a death or injury every 1.7
hours.
