Lions Donate Laptops

The Kahoka Lions Club donated two laptop computers to the Clark County Food Closet to help with their operations.  Pictured are Lions President Ron Brewer, Food Closet representative Ken Goyer, and Lions Club member Boyd Woods.   The Food Closet is located on East Business 136 in Kahoka.  Kent Nixon provides the building and forklift for their use.

Last month the Food Closet served 1,754 clients, and they are adding about 100 new clients monthly.  Distribution for Missouri residents is held on the fourth Thursday of the month.  Out of state residents are served on the second Tuesday of the month.  Anyone in emergency situations can call Kim Allen at 660-341-6090, or Charlie Hammack at 660-465-7212.  This institution is an equal opportunity provider.
