Courthouse Bond Issue Approved
Clark County voters made it official on Tuesday. It’s time for a new courthouse.
By a nearly 2-1 margin, 1097-648, voters approved a four million dollar bond issue to demolish the existing 138 year old building, and replace it with a new courthouse.
Voters also approved the Clark County R-1 School bond issue, which will allow the district to borrow $4 million to make facilities improvements.
Larry Young and Curtis Mack were re-elected to the Kahoka Board of Aldermen, and Mark Plenge and Craig Hunziker were the CCR-1 School Board race winners.
