Commissioners Open Courthouse Bids

The Clark County Commissioners received six bids for the courthouse construction project. The board opened the bids at their Tuesday, June 14, meeting.
The bids are currently be certified by project architects S&V Consultants to make sure they meet project bid specifications.
“We’re happy with the bids we received,”?said Presiding Commissioner Ron Brewer.
Pending the qualifying of the bids, the Commissioners hope t award the construction project this week.
“We’re still on track for starting in early July,” Brewer added. The project guidelines allow for 480 calendar days from the bid award date until completion.
In other business, the Commissioners were reviewing the condition of the county’s roads following last week’s flooding.
