Clark County Fair One Day Harness Racing to be Held

 

The Clark County Fair will have harness racing, one day only, Sunday, July 29, beginning at 1:00 p.m., sponsored by the Clark County A & M Fair Association, and the Missouri Harness Horsemen’s Association.

We encourage everyone to come and enjoy the return of horse racing at the Clark County Fair. They have indicated that we can expect 8 to 10 races.

Other events of the week of July 25-29 include: Wednesday, Sam Thompson, Hypnotist, and the Washer Tournament; Thursday, non-sanctioned Bull Riding and Barrel Racing; Friday, sanctioned Pedal Tractor Pull and United Pullers of America and Missouri Farm Pullers tractor pull; Saturday, Farm and Antique Tractor Pull, Bar-be-cue Contest, and the Demolition Derby. We close out the week on Sunday the 29th with Harness Racing. All events are at 7:00 p.m., except the Pedal Tractor Pull at 5:30 p.m., Antique Pull at 10:00 a.m., and the Horse Racing at 1:00 p.m.

Midway entertainment on Friday night is country star, Jake McVey, and Saturday night will be the Staggard Band.

The Germain Rides and Concessions carnival will be here from Wednesday through Saturday evening along with many 4-H events and exhibits. The open art show is for all ages and will be located in the Commercial Building.
