Missing Revere Man Found Deceased

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office received a call at approximately 10:44 am , on June 10, 2014, that James N. Teeters, 68, of rural Revere, Missouri was missing from his home. A pickup truck belonging to Mr. Teeters had been located in Dumas Creek, near a low water crossing and a search for him was initiated.

At approximately 12:00 pm, the body of Mr. Teeters was found and identified approximately one half mile from his pickup truck.

The cause of death has not been determined at this time.  An autopsy is scheduled for June 11, 2014 at the Boone County Medical Examiner’s Office in Columbia, Missouri.

The Clark County Sheriff’s Office and Mr. Teeters’ family were assisted at the scene by local and State emergency personnel.
