Kahoka Teen Airlifted To Hospital Following Accident-Update
A Kahoka teen was airlifted to Blessing Hospital in Quincy following a one vehicle accident north of Kahoka.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, 17-year old Derrick Fowler was driving on an unmarked road (known locally as Beer Can Alley). Due to a medical condition, his vehicle left the road and struck a tree.
Fowler was taken by ambulance to the Kahoka Christian Church parking lot, where a helicopter landing zone had been established. He was transported to Blessing Hospital in serious condition.

A Kahoka man was airlifted to the hospital Tuesday evening following an accident on “Beer Can Alley”, just north of Kahoka.
Law enforcement, Clark County Ambulance and Clark County Rescue were called to “Beer Can Alley” around 4:30, with a report of a vehicle off the road with an unconscious driver. Bystanders close to the driver said the car went off the road into a ravine.
Clark County Rescue, and the Kahoka Fire Department established a landing zone in the Kahoka Christian Church parking lot.
The driver, who has not been publicly identified, was taken by ambulance to the Kahoka Christian Church, where he was taken by Air Evac to the hospital.
