Firefighters Respond To Rural Luray Fire-Video and Photo Gallery

Shortly before 11am on Wednesday, April 1, the Clark County Rural Fire Department responded to a machine shed fire northwest of Luray. Billows of black smoke could be seen clearly from Kahoka as firefighters headed west.

Efforts to fight the fire were hampered by gusty winds, dry conditions, and the availability of water. Fire crews eventually set up a pump line from a nearby pond.

The building appeared to be a total loss.

More info will be posted when it is available.
