Kahoka Police Officer Charged With Domestic Assault
A part-time Kahoka police officer has been suspended pending the outcome of an investigation of a Sunday incident.
According to court papers, Michele Miller, of Memphis, pointed a semiautomatic pistol at a family member. Memphis police were called to her home Sunday afternoon. She is charged with third degree domestic assault.
The victim told investigators that Miller threatened to shoot holes in the pool if the victim did not go back in the house to finish her chores. Two neighbors witnessed the incident.
She was released from jail after posting bond.

Pursuant to section 595.226.1, RSMo, the Clerk is hereby directed to raise the security level of the Information and the Probable Cause Statement herein to level 3 in the case management system, to prevent the release of identifying information relating the the alleged victim in this matter. Any copies of the Information and/or Probable Cause Statement which shall be released to anyone other than the Defendant or an attorney of record in this case shall have all identifying information of the alleged victim, as defined in section 595.226.1, RSMo, redacted by the Clerk prior to the release of said documents.
