Indians Advance To Sectionals In Mexico on Wednesday

On Wednesday March 2, Adam Rung and his Clark County R-1 Indians boys’ basketball team will travel to Mexico High School to compete in the MSHSAA sectional contest. The 19-8 Indians earned the right to advance by winning the Class 3 District 7 title, outscoring Palmyra 65-59 in overtime this past Saturday. Clark County will challenge Father Tolton Regional Catholic from Columbia. The Trailblazers arrive at the sectional after defeating Southern Boone 58-29 and enter the sectional with a record of 26-3.

The games will be conducted at Mexico High School, located at 639 N. Wade in Mexico. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:45. Admission is $6.00 for all spectators school aged and older.
