Area Firefighters Respond To Luray House Fire
Sirens broke the quiet of Wednesday morning, and a pillar of smoke rose hundreds of feet into the air above Luray as firefighters from the Kahoka, Clark County Rural and Wyaconda fire departments responded to a house fire shortly after 8:30am.
The unoccupied home at Lusley and Franklin Streets in Luray is owned by Louie McCluskey, according to bystanders at the scene. Bystanders also reported the residents had recently moved out.
The cause of the fire is not known at this time. We will update the story when more information becomes available
