Foot Pursuit Ends In Drug Arrest
Jordan Sierra Brunk
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Jordan Sierra Brunk, age 24 of Kahoka, Missouri. Brunk was arrested for: being in possession of a controlled substance (C felony) and resisting a felony arrest (E felony).
On October 31, 2018, at 10:14 a.m. members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Jordan Brunk, a passenger in a vehicle parked behind the Kahoka Medical clinic. During the contact, members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office informed Brunk she had an active warrant out of Lee County, Iowa, and asked Brunk to exit the vehicle. Brunk exited the vehicle and immediately fled from the vehicle on foot but was caught by members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office after a short foot pursuit.
Brunk later admitted to having illegal drugs in her purse.
Brunk was transported to the Clark County Detention Center at 10:25 a.m. Brunk was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a 24 hour investigative hold with formal charges pending.
Laura Lee Nelligan
The Clark County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of Laura Lee Nelligan, age 22 of Keokuk, Iowa. Nelligan was arrested for: being in possession of a controlled substance (C felony) and possession of less than 35 grams of marijuana.
On October 31, 2018, at 10:14 a.m. members of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office made contact with Laura Nelligan, a passenger in a vehicle parked behind the Kahoka Medical clinic. During the contact illegal drugs were discovered in the vehicle and Nelligan claimed the illegal drugs belonged to her.
Nelligan was transported to the Clark County Detention Center at 11:20 a.m. Nelligan was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on a 24 hour investigative hold with formal charges pending.
All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
