Pezley’s Celebrate 60th Anniversary
Roger and Jean (Daw) Pezley of Kahoka, Missouri are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary. The two were married October 16, 1960 at First Baptist Church in Wayland, MO, by Rev. Kenneth Sorden. His attendants were James Harold Daw, brother of the bride, and Jim Wallace. She was attended by Carolyn Lemaster Potts and Kay (Daw) Williams, sister of the bride.
Roger worked at Hubinger/H. J. Heinz/Roquette and retired from Roquette after 22 years of service. He returned to work and retired from DuPont after 11 years. Jean worked at Argyle School and retired from Morse Chain. Together, they enjoy tending to their beautiful flowers and vegetable garden. Roger enjoys target shooting and Jean is an active member of Kahoka Presbyterian Church.
They have two children: Annette (Jesse) Luebke of Hamilton, IL and Chris (Lisa) Pezley of Kahoka.
They have been blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Grandchildren are Jill (Brent) Dobbins, Megan (Jared) Massey, Dustin (Audrey) Pezley, Krista (Ryan) Jacobs, and Erin (Tyler) Brown. Great-grandchildren are Mikayla and Hannah Dobbins and Zachary, Eric, and Christine Massey.
