The Clark County Indians finally face the Highland Cougars in conference play on Thursday, after several reschedules.
Clark County played a solid first half against a quick Cougar squad. The Indians led 14-10 after one quarter, and held a 29-27 halftime lead.
Highland stepped up the pressure in the second half, knotting the score at 38 each after three quarters. In the end, the Cougars edged their way to a 48-45 win.
Carter Briscoe had a dozen points to lead Clark County. Sam Wheeler added 11. Gabe Hunziker scored seven points, and Layne Sommers had six. Aaron Day put in four points, and Eli Elam had three. Drayson Daniels had one bucket.
