On Thursday, March 18, 2021, the Kahoka/Clark County Chamber of Commerce members, Melissa Vigen, President, Ava Little, Treasurer, presented Alderman Larry Young with a $1,000 donation toward the purchase of flag poles for the Kahoka Cemetery. The City of Kahoka is wanting to purchase a total of 15 poles for the Kahoka Cemetery.
If anyone is interested in helping the city with getting these poles for the cemetery, they can do so by contacting the City Hall. The City’s goal is to get them out into the cemetery by Memorial Day weekend.
Anyone who donates $500 can have their names put on the flagpole. Industrial Opportunities LLC. is going to provide help with getting the names put on the poles.
