The Clark County Indians pounded in 10 runs on Saturday morning, as the Highland Cougars visited Kahoka.
Gabe Howe struck out two of the first three Cougar batters.
In the bottom of the first, Clark County scored three runs. Zander Johnson singled, and Carter Briscoe reached base on an error. Howe singled, scoring two RBI’s. Aaron Day’s double brought in the third Indian run.
In the second, Sam Wheeler walked, and advances on a sacrifice bunt by Eli Elam. Drew Holstead singled, and Koy Nixon’s single drove home two runs. Nixon would score on a fielder’s choice hit by Briscoe.
Holsted and Nixon added fourth inning runs, and Day and Wheeler added runs in the fifth for the 10-0 shutout.
