The Missouri Basketball Coaches Association has announced their 2022 Class 3, All District 6 Girls Basketball Team. South Shelby’s Luke O’ Laughlin was named Girls District Coach of the Year.
District 6 Champion South Shelby is represented by Miranda Patterson, Belle Roush, Kaylee Gaines and Emma Dovin. Palmyra is represented by Claire Williams and Sydney Compton.
Highland is represented by Junior Ansley Bringer. She averaged 19 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game this season for the Lady Cougars. Ansley reached the 1000 point career scoring plateau during the 2021-22 season.
Clark County 1000 point career scoring Senior Alexis Ellison along with Mari Gates of Monroe City made the 2022 MBCA Class 3, All District 6 Girls Basketball Team.
