Fundraising Friends would like to extend a thank you to all of those who purchased a shirt for the fundraiser for Miss Kinslee Larue. Kinslee was honored at the home football game on September 30, 2022. Several family members attended, and Kinslee’s siblings, Brent and Bralynn, were the honorary captains for the game. The family received a signed football and helmet, and the proceeds from the fundraiser: $1,765 was raised to help the family. Moving forward, if you’d be interested in purchasing a shirt, you can still order one through Michelle Allen. Again thank you for all of the support. – Clark County Community Fighting Against Cancer.
About the Group
I wanted to introduce our group and let everyone know a bit about us. We are a group of local volunteers who have dedicated our time to fundraising for local families and organizations, as well as some national organizations. Our group meets at least 4 times a year to set up fundraisers and pick charities or individuals that need our help. We are open to suggestions for those from the community that need a fundraiser. We are also extremely open to having any volunteers that are interested in helping. We plan on doing a shirt fundraiser each year in the fall, luminaria for winter, daffodils for spring, and then alternating a summer fundraiser. Each fundraiser will have a different recipient for the profits and we will vote on those fundraisers at our meetings. We are currently doing a fundraiser for Ms. Kinslee Larue. Kinslee is currently in St. Louis battling brain cancer and we are selling shirts to help her family with expenses. We are asking everyone to wear their shirts to the September 30, 2022 football game and during half time we will honor Kinslee and hopefully have a bit of an update. If anyone is interested in attending our meetings or helping in any way whatsoever, our next meeting is September 19, 2022 at 5:30 at Steve’s Family Dining or you can contact one of our officers: Donna Drummond, Michelle Allen, Kathy Frazier, or Delma Smith.
Again be looking for us in the community and keep your eyes open for our fundraisers.
