Clark Co. Vs. Schuyler Co.
The Clark County Indians won two of three games at the Tri Rivers Classic at Schuyler County last week.
On Tuesday, the Indians face the host Schuyler County Rams.
The Indians stayed close with hot-shooting Rams throughout the contest, and trailed 23- 20 at half.
A low-scoring third quarter hurt Clark County and the Rams pulled to a 53-45 win. Carter Briscoe led the Indians with 14 points. Drayson Daniel scored 10, and Harrison Parker tallied eight points. Callan Wheeler added seven, and Boden Kleine, Grayden Kleine and Conner Pearl added two points each.
Clark Co. vs. Scotland Co.
On Thursday, the Indians faces Scotland County for the second time this season, this time edging the Tigers 40-36.
Clark County led 9-6 after one quarter, and 22-18 at the half.
The second half stayed close, with the Indians earning the four-point win.
Briscoe led Clark County with 13 points. Grayden Kleine added eight, and Callan Wheeler scored seven. Boden Kleine and Daniel each had five, and Conner Pearl scored two points.
Clark Co. vs. Brookfield
On Saturday, the Indians faced Brookfield for the Consolation title.
The Bulldogs scored only two points in the opening quarter, both at the foul line. The Indians had a balanced offense, spreading 11 points over five shooters in the first.
In the second, Daniel dominated inside, and Boden Kleine and Wheeler nailed three-pointers in a 18-point quarter. At the half, the Indians led 29-11.
Conner Pearl led the Indian scoring in the third with six of his teams 14 points, while the Clark County defense allowed only four Bulldog points.
The pace slowed in the final quarter as the Indians cruised to a 51- 20 win.
Daniel led with 11 points. Pearl scored 10, and Wheeler and Harrison Parker scored eight each. Boden Kleine added seven, and Briscoe scored five. Grayden Kleine added two points.
