Kelcey Beth Yates, 32, of Kahoka, Mo passed away at 9:08 am on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at University Hospital Columbia, MO surrounded by her family. Kelcey was born on July 4, 1991, to Curtis L. Yates and Rhonda (Hunziker) Gates. 

Kelcey graduated from Clark County High School in 2010. She also attended art classes at SCC. Kelcey loved the outdoors, she was a rock collector and enjoyed searching for geodes, agates, mushrooms, and arrowheads. Kelcey had a green thumb when it came to gardening and flowers. She was a very talented artist and could paint or draw anything while listening to music. Most of all she enjoyed her precious times with her son Kayden. 

Kelcey is survived by her father: Curtis L. Yates of Kahoka, MO, her mother: Rhonda (Keith) Gates of Kahoka, MO, her son: Kayden J. Allsup of Kahoka, MO, her Grandmother Geri Hunziker of Kahoka, MO, one brother: Breckan (Jena Elder) Yates of Kahoka, MO, two sisters: Hayley (Cody) Nelsen of WI, Kristy (Dasan) Justice of IA. Kelcey is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces, Nephews and many cousins. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Leroy Hunziker, and Elmer and Delphene Yates. 

There will be a Memorial Service for Kelcey at 11:00am, Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Wilson & Triplett Funeral Home in Kahoka. Pastor Shawn McAfee will officiate.
