Dent Named CCR-1 High School Principal

Dennis Dent will be the new principal at Clark County R-1 High School.

Clark County R-1 School District is excited to announce Dennis Dent has been promoted to High School Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.

 Dent will replace Ben Taylor as high school principal.  Dent has been the high school assistant principal at Clark County High School for 2 years along with serving as the head boys basketball coach and assistant football coach.

With his ascension to the principal position, he will no longer serve as an athletic coach for Clark County R-1.

Dent is a graduate of Knox County High School and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Westminster College in Sports Education and Athletic Performance.  He earned a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northwest Missouri State University.

Dent will officially take over the principal position on July 1, 2024.
