Kahoka will be full of holiday cheer at this year’s annual Christmas on the Square! This fun holiday event will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The theme for this year’s Christmas on the Square is “A Very Country Christmas!”
Stroll around the square on Saturday to see all of the beautiful light displays, shop at local businesses, visit vendors and food trucks, and grab some free hot chocolate and cookies by the bandstand!
The evening will start out with a special visitor for the kids! Santa will arrive at the square at 4:00 p.m. and will be in the Santa House from 4:15 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Santa House is sponsored by Exchange Bank of Northeast Missouri.
There will be free Wagon Rides at the Exchange Bank parking lot for everyone to enjoy.
Kids can enjoy Train Rides around the square and can also go to Vigen Memorial Home for a free face painting.
A lighted ATV/UTV parade will start at 5:30 p.m. and travel around the square. This event is hosted by 131 Motorsports.
The Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place at 6:00 p.m. with the King and Queen lighting the tree. This year’s King and Queen is Larry and Joyce Young!
Each year, the Christmas on the Square committee members work hard to put on this event. The committee members are Troy Kiger, Mitzi Kiger, Vanessa Gray, Ethan Horton, Morgan Horton, Melissa Bevans, Cassandra Webster, and DaKota Hopp.
