KAHOKA, Mo. – The Clark County R-1 school board met Thursday, March 13, where community member Jeff Wood expressed concerns about noise from school buses late at night.
Wood, who lives across the street from the district’s bus parking lot on East Commercial Street, cited the loud backup alarms as a disturbance. He had previously addressed the Kahoka City Council about the issue.
The board listened to Wood’s concerns but decided against making changes.
“It’s safer to back them in,” Superintendent Dr. Ritchie Kracht said.
