KAHOKA, MO — April 22, 2025 — On a crisp spring afternoon at Twin Lakes Golf Course, the Clark County golf team went head-to-head with powerhouse Palmyra, turning in a spirited performance marked by steady improvement and standout individual efforts.
Palmyra’s A team set the pace with an impressive 152, while their B team finished +43. Clark County’s A squad, showing grit throughout the round, finished with a team score of 191.
Senior Grayden Kleine continued to impress for Clark County, carding a 46 to secure an 8th-place finish overall. Owen Eddleman and Gage Bowen both shot strong rounds of 47, tying for 11th place, while Kole Ross (51, 14th place) and Brendin Harvey (52, 15th place) rounded out the team scoring with solid contributions.
The Clark County B team also fought hard, highlighted by Karson Kirchner’s impressive 46, matching Kleine’s score and earning him a share of 8th place. Kyson Gordy shot a 48 to finish 13th, while Preston Martin’s 59 landed him 16th. Despite battling a challenging course layout, Conner Smith (73, 18th place), Tuff Pitford (76, 19th place), and Maverick Kirchner (79, 20th place) showed determination and resilience, gaining valuable experience.
