3rd, 4th and 5th graders from Running Fox Elementary School who completed reading 40 books. They students were rewarded with a play day in the park, a pizza party and a trip to Sever Library.
Miss Pattie read “Peppa Pig and the Lost Dinosaur” and “When Spring Comes” today. Then the boys and girls made a chicken. Come join us next week for a story and craft.
Sever Library’s next event will be the Summer Reading Program. Signup begins the day school gets out. You will see below the tentative schedule for programs. There will be categories of Read to Me (for those not reading on their own), Read (for early readers who read on their own) and the Five Book Challenge; each child may participate in one of these reading categories. There will be a new category – Classic Challenge – for older readers. There will be fun prizes and drawings at the end of the summer for our readers!
