The deadline to sponsor wreaths for the veterans at Frazee Cemetery for Wreath’s Across America is Wednesday, November 5th. Willing Worker’s 4-H Club, is raising funds as a citizenship and community service project to support the Wreaths Across America, specifically to encourage sponsorships for wreaths to be placed on veteran’s graves at the Frazee Cemetery in Alexandria, MO.
The Willing Worker’s 4-H Club has been asked to take over Frazee Cemetery for the Clark County Chapter, DAR. We have chosen to participate in the national program whose mission is to Remember the fallen, Honor those who served, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.
Our goal is to support efforts to serve our community, value our Veterans, and celebrate our freedom by thanking the 78 veterans laid to rest at the Frazee Cemetery with the placement of a live, balsam veteran’s wreath on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. The public is invited to attend the ceremony and participate in the laying of the wreaths.
About Wreaths Across America:
Wreaths Across America is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded to continue and expand the annual wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery begun by Maine businessman Morrill Worcester in 1992. The organization’s mission – “Remember, Honor, Teach” – is carried out in part each year by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies in December at Arlington, as well as thousands of veterans’ cemeteries and other locations in all 50 states and beyond.
Please help us to honor the veterans laid to rest at the Frazee Cemetery by sponsoring a wreath. The cost of each wreath is $17.00 and if you have a family member who is a veteran and buried at the cemetery you can make a specific grave request, or you can donate any amount to assist with the cost of wreaths for all the veterans. By sponsoring a wreath, it means you’ll honor an American hero on Wreaths Across America Day.
An updated list of veterans who are buried at the Frazee Cemetery has been compiled; if you know of a veteran who is not listed, please let us know.
