Tornado Touches Down Northeast of Kahoka

The National Weather Service office in the Quad Cities has confirmed that a weak tornado touched down just outside Kahoka on Sunday evening, August 10, at 7:10pm. Several videos of the tornado had been posted on Facebook. According to the NWS, the twister was on the ground for 0.14 miles, with a maximum width of just ten yard. The storm later spawned another tornado in Lee County.
