It’s me again and my high hatted opinions. I literally receive 100’s of pieces of mail every week as it isdelivered. Many of them are Polls or Surveys, but everyone is asking for a donation.
I just finished a survey on “How I think President Trump is doing his job?” Answering questions and giving myopinions, I wrote a check, signed a statement, added a stamp, drove to my mailbox and put up the flag.
I am as proud as any old geezer can be of Clark County and our modern, up-to-date newspapers. Every weekthe pictures and news are clean and clear with color and names and faces, the people of all ages being recognized for their achievements, their endeavors. They have set goals for themselves and their families. You see our residents, whether in groups, clubs, organizations, donating to everything and everyone in need. And 99% are smiling.
It seems to me that the election of President Trump has given us new hope, lifted our spirits with renewed strength, brought out more community mindedness.
If you can’t find it in Clark County build it yourself or get a partner. Two heads are better than one. If your fields have more thistles and cockle burrs than grain try something different. If you have children bring the Ten Commandments into your home. Make it a practice to follow the rules and show respect for all. There is an old saying, “If you don’t believe in God you will believe in anything.” Some have said I am a “Goody-Two-Shoes.”
I agree.
It is only 15 months until our next National Election. All I can do is preach, “Go personally and vote” Express your opinion. That is the only way you have a right to your feelings. Speak softly and calmly, have courage and let yourself be heard. Let the percentage of eligible voters that “VOTE” reach at least 99%.
And pity the poor soul who doesn’t give a . Remember we feed the world. Believe me I am not beingargumentative, just giving food for thought.
Thank You,
Sherry Daffon
