Kahoka, MO – The children of St. Michael’s and the Shrine of St. Patrick Vacation Bible School recently demonstrated how small acts can make a big difference. Throughout their week of learning and fun, the students participated in a friendly “change drive” competition, collecting coins to support the Clark County Food Pantry. Their efforts raised an impressive total of $750.
The drive was more than just fundraising—it was a hands-on lesson about living like Jesus. By giving generously to help families in need, the children experienced firsthand the value of service, compassion, and community support.

“This was a wonderful way to help our kids connect their faith to real-life action,” said Vanessa Gray. “They learned that even small gifts, when given with love, can come together to make a huge impact.”
The $750 raised will go directly to supporting the Food Pantry’s mission of providing essentials to families throughout Clark County.
